Summary
In this project we examine the importance of occupation (blue collar, white collar, professional) and area-based socio-economic disadvantage to explain all-cause and cause-specific mortality in Australia. This study uses a multilevel design and is the first of its kind in Australia. Three journal articles have been published, one is currently under review and two further are planned.
